The Bush administration is in doldrums and this news will definitely not help.
Vice President Dick Cheney’s former top aide testified that President Bush authorized the release of parts of a classified report on Iraq to rebut criticism of the case for the 2003 invasion, federal prosecutors disclosed in documents released Thursday.
All along there were hints and rumours that Bush was involved in the leak of a CIA agent whose husband was a critic of the Bush administration (more for the story, click here.) There were sure proofs of the Vice President, Cheney’s, involvement. But this is the first proof that Bush, himself, was involved in the scandal.
This will definitely blow some heads from the administration, if not Bush’s.
